Spea Ingegneria Europea S.p.A. provides the following engineering services:

	Design: study and development activities aimed at the dimensional and functional definition and improvement of the procedures necessary for construction of an infrastructure in its entirety
	Works Supervision: activities for the technical-accountancy and administrative coordination, supervision and control for execution of an infrastructure project, in compliance with the contractual commitments assumed by a contractor with a contracting authority
	Manteinance: activities aimed at providing the Client with full support in managing its road and motorway assets, as well as providing details on the current condition and highlighting any hazards or critical situations
	Environmental Monitoring: activities aimed at checking any environmental and socio-economic changes which have occurred due to the construction of the works, distinguishing them from changes induced by other natural factors or linked to day-to-day human activities in the area

	Health and safety coordination during design and construction of the works
	Geotechnical monitoring
	Monitoring and non-destructive testing of structures
	Static load testing
	Territorial and urban planning
	Traffic and road studies
	Technical-economic-financial feasibility studies

	Studies and designs for rationalisation of utilities and use of the subsoil

Spea Ingegneria Europea S.p.A. is also able to provide support for the economic operators in the civil engineering sector, including:

Design Support: asupport and coordination of the design carried out by another economic operator. In this case, the services provided are those typical of project management, i.e.:

	support for preparation of tenders and contract documents
	technical support to tender evaluation commission
	checking relationships with the various parties involved in design activities
	indication of general priorities in planning the works
	coordination of relationships between Designer and Client and checking the Designer's organisation
	control of all services awarded, checking progress of works, both overall and in detail
	design consultancy in order to obtain Client's approval
	road, structural, geotechnical, hydraulic and land expropriation services, to support management of the project
	control of investigations, to support management of the project

Technical and specialist support to Works Supervision: support activities to external personnel. In this case, the services provided are:

	topographical surveying and plotting, in-situ measurement of works for payment certificates, book-keeping, supervision of works
	custody of book-keeping documents
	transmission of data to the Client regarding progress of the works during the previous month, as well as data regarding definite or expected changes to the initial design

Support for Structural Testing: assistance to the Inspector regarding organisational, operational and documentary matters and execution of the specified test. The investigations may cover either static load tests, dynamic load tests or non-destructive tests. The main activities involved in this service are as follows:

	review of the design of the works to be tested in accordance with the Inspector's instructions and definition of the test procedures, such as loading requirements to reach the design stresses, calculation of the theoretical deformations and assessment of the theoretical dynamic behaviour
	execution of the static or dynamic load tests and/or of the non-destructive tests
	preparation of the Technical Report with a comparison of the experimental results and the theoretical figures
